Mid and Long-Term Outcomes for Patients Treated with Distal Femoral Osteotomy
Clinical Trial ( IRB ) #: 17-124-3
Title: Mid and Long-Term Outcomes for Patients Treated with Distal Femoral Osteotomy
Principal Investigator: Dr. Robert Arciero
Description: This study will examine the outcomes of patients who underwent distal femoral osteotomy surgery performed by Robert A. Arciero, MD and Thomas M. DeBerardino, MD at least two years ago. This knowledge may help to improve the treatment and outcomes of future patients who experience knee malalignment. A survey will be used to collect postoperative outcome information regarding current pain, satisfaction and functional outcomes. A chart review will be conducted to collect information regarding demographics, preoperative clinical factors, radiographs and the DFO procedure. Preoperative, operative and postoperative factors will be examined to determine which factors relate to positive outcomes.
